After syncing shared notebooks, you’ll be able to see any notes from the other notebook authors that were added or changed during the time you were offline - and they will be able to see the changes you have made. As soon as you reconnect to the Internet, OneNote will automatically sync your changes to the notebook on OneDrive.
While you work offline, OneNote will warn you that it cannot sync the notebook. If you temporarily disconnect from the Internet for any reason (for example, while traveling on an airplane), you can keep working offline in the cached (locally saved) copy of the notes on your Mac. What are page versions? OneNote stores copies of the same page after every edit. When you open the notebook on PC, you will see a yellow warning message : That is when it shows you an error – Sync Issues. It needs to escalate the problem to you so that you can take the right decision. In this case, OneNote cannot perform automatic Sync. In some cases, the changes made are conflicting with each other. Synchronization will happen automatically whenever you get connected and OneNote is opened. In some cases, while you are editing, you may not have internet connection.
In short – the same page content is editable from multiple places (and multiple people).Īll these changes are automatically synchronized. If you work in a team, you can share the notebook with the team. It even allows you to edit the same page simultaneously from multiple devices.
Now you can access it from PC, Mac, Android, iOS, Windows Phone and edit the content. You create a notebook and store it on OneDrive.
